Currently underway is a collaboration with two LA-based, multimedia brands: the floating retail pop-up and vending platform VCR (Vintage Contemporary Resconstructed), and FUTRA, the collective multimedia brand and music label bridging genres of art and design through experiential events.
On Saturday July 27 from 1PM-12AM, we unite at Angel City Brewery to co-create and curate a total sensory experience in which art, fashion, music, and performance synthesize to provide a day-to-night occasion of enhanced sonic cohesion. This event will be twofold with an indoor marketplace of vendors setting-up shop within the behemoth of Angel City‘s ground floor during the day, and come dusk, transforming into an atmospheric scene and dance-destination with a sophisticated line-up of dj’s, performances, installations, and immersive environments.
To realize this event to its absolute capacity, we call upon artists, creatives, devotees, dancers, followers, groupies, and lovers to join us. With an OPEN CALL for artist submissions thru Monday July 15, we seek performance, installation, video, and multimedia works to feature and market as part of this event. Additionally, one-of-a-kind vendors and artisans and creative agencies are invited to inquire about vending space.
